Water power

Hydroelectric power plants convert the mechanical energy of the water into electric current. Basis for the power production can be either an artificial accumulation or the natural movement of the water.

With the artificial accumulation the water is held back by a water-retaining structure at a very high potential level. The effluent water sets a water turbine or a water wheel in motion. The movement is passed on then either directly or over a transmission to the wave of the generator and is converted into electric current.

On request, we can provide you hydroelectric power plants.
